Terms and Conditions

  1. All clients will be deemed to have accepted Fetch terms and conditions (as laid out here) on signature of the contract.
  2. Fetch will not confirm any booking until a consultation (including walk if deemed necessary) has been carried out with the client and the contract, with full details of client requirements, has been signed by the client.
  3. I hereby confirm that my dog(s) vaccinations are up to date (proof may be required), and free from any infections or diseases.  I confirm that my dog(s) have been recently and are regularly de-wormed and checked for fleas and ticks, as appropriate. We reserve the right to decline a walk If the dog seems to be too sick or lame to go out.
  4. Should it be necessary, at our discretion, for a vet to be called for any health condition, all fees incurred are the responsibility of the owner.
  5. The client must provide Fetch with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) and home in an emergency. If the contact is not available Fetch reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interests of the animal.
  6. Any current or ongoing problems with a pet’s health or temperament must be disclosed to us at the time of booking.
  7. Fetch reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time & with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the walker and/or other dogs or to conduct solo walks only.
  8. The dog(s) must wear an identity tag whilst in the care of Fetch (we may also require them to wear one of our own whilst in our care). We recommend that you list us with your microchip provider. (Pet log)
  9. The dog(s) are not on the Dangerous Dog List.
  10. Your dog(s) may be walked and transported in an environment with dogs from other households whilst in the care of Fetch.. NOTE Should you not agree, there will be an additional charge for 1:1 walks.
  11. Any of your pets accessories/toys etc. are provided for use at your own risk, and we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to these.
  12. In-season bitches will only be exercised on the lead and may have to have 1-1 walks at an additional charge if deemed necessary by Fetch.
  13. Please note that all pets are insured whilst in our care, excluding fees or death in connection with any condition that existed prior to our care, or the cost of cremation.  Full Public Liability Insurance is held.  Although Fetch holds Public Liability insurance, wherever possible pets should be insured by the client. Fetch reserves the right to refuse a booking for any animal which is not insured.
  14. Fetch will require keys and codes if visiting empty properties. Keys will be coded for safe keeping and we are fully insured for loss of keys and replacement locks.  Keys will be returned on termination of contract.
  15. All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless prior agreement has been reached with Fetch and a disclaimer form has been   signed.
  16. The walker will apply personal judgment and cut short a walk if necessary because of extreme weather conditions (ie, heat, thunder storms) for the safety of both the dogs and the walker.
  17. Payment must be made in full on the stated date of the contract, by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
  18. Cancellation of any walks must be given as per contract or payment in full will be claimed.
